Hello and welcome to Junior Infants in Room 4. There are many exciting times ahead and plenty of adventures to be had. Take a look at our first day in Junior Infants photographs. Drop in for regular updates.
This month (October) we are learning all about school, the people who work here, where they work and what they use in their jobs everyday. We had our own mini classroom set up and took turns being the teacher.
“I liked being the teacher “…..Aoife
“It was fun playing the picture game” Darragh
“I liked answering the telephone in the office”…. Kayla
We went to Charleville for a nature walk. We saw lots of trees, ferns, acorns, pine cones and lots of muddy puddles. We had so much fun.
Here’s a clip of us singing ‘I’m a Little Teapot’
Hello everyone and Happy Autumn to you all. Look how busy we have been so far! We are busy learning all about shapes, sorting things by colour, size, shape and thickness. We can make patterns too! We are learning so much during I.L.T.P. We get to dress up and pretend to be a waiter or a receptionist or anyone! We also get to make things from playdough.
We went on an Autumn walk around the school and collected leaves so we could do leaf rubbings.
We had Halloween Fruit Tasting too. So yummy.
We are getting ready for our Halloween Parade on Friday. Stay tuned for photographs of the big day!
