Our school tour to Dún na Sí in Moate was a fantastic day out! We were lucky that the sun came out for us that day. We visited the animals, explored the Heritage park and had a guided tour around the sculpture park. Best of all was our picnic lunch in the sunshine and all the fun had in the playground!
World Book Day 2018
We celebrated World Book Day in St. Joseph’s by dressing as characters from some of our favourite books. Can you recognise all the different characters?
We were so happy to have some fantastic helpers into the parents’ room to do some gingerbread baking with us. After a busy morning of measuring, mixing, rolling and cutting, we enjoyed our delicious cookies back in our classroom. Thank you to Mrs. O’ Brien for organising it all.
We had Bruce’s Mammy and Granny, Amelia’s Mammy, Alfie’s Daddy, Grace’s Mammy, Caitlin’s Daddy, Alex’s Mammy, Conor’s Mammy, Katie’s Mammy and Amaya’s Mammy. Thank you all!
We really enjoyed our walk in Charleville woods. It was a beautiful sunny morning. We loved walking in the squishy leaves and getting our wellies mucky!
Some photos from Halloween in Room 5!
We have all settled well into school life in room 5. Here are some pictures of enjoying playtime.
