Ms. Byrne

Welcome to our class page.

Junior Infants from room 5 enjoying some activities at their tables during their first week of school.  It was great to see so many happy and smiling faces each day.

The Gingerbread Man

We loved the story of The Gingerbread man but couldn’t believe the fox eat him all up! We made our own ones and decorated them, we are fantastic cooks!

World Book Day

We love reading in our class and we had great fun on World Book day. Mary Poppins, Barrie, Mr Happy and Fireman Sam all joined our class!  We had a fashion parade too. Happy World Book day every day!

Pancake Day

We had yummy pancakes in our class for Pancake Tuesday. Some of us had blueberries for the first time!  Thanks to the mammies and daddies who came and helped us.

We had a fantastic morning at PlayTown on the morning of our Christmas holidays. Look at the many different roles we got to dress up as!

Our Magic Show

We had a visit from Joe the magician. Joe surprised all of us with his magical tricks! We had a very exciting day.

Fruit Tasting

We had great fun tasting lots of healthy fruit this week. We learned that eating fruit gives us a strong body and a strong mind!  Some of us tasted cucumbers for the first time!

We had great fun at Halloween this year. We took part in Halloween games and the witches walk. We even got to try some brack and one boy got the ring! Look at our scary costumes!

Charleville Walk

We went to Charleville for our Autumn walk this month. We saw beautiful coloured leaves and collected many acorns and conkers.  We were very excited about our bus journey too!

Road Safety Week

We got our safety licenses this month from the RSA. They showed us how to cross the road safely at the zebra crossing and how to sit safely in the back of the car.  We must always remember to Stop, Look and Listen!

Fitness week

Our class took part in many activities for National Fitness Day. These included HIIT exercises, playground games and yoga. They are all very fit!

Our Aistear theme for September is ‘School.’
Here we are participating and enjoying our different stations. We have Aistear in our class three times a week. Ms. Gallagher joins in too!
