Fine Motor Skills

September: Fine motor and literacy activities in Room 11.

Outdoor Activities

We enjoyed many activities outside in the yard. We had fun on the equipment, played friendship games, traced our friends shadows and went on a hunt around the school.  

Autumn

We really enjoyed our play stations all about Autumn. We collected leaves and did leaf rubbings. We created patterns using Autumn pictures. We set up a forest using Autumn coloured leaves, trees, paper pathways and used our animals and puppets to play. We did leaf printing and made scarecrows at the creative table. We cut out coloured leaves, put them into sets and counted the number of leaves in each set. We are very creative in room 11!  We even found a hedgehog when we went on an Autumn hunt around the school. We watched the hedgehog move around and we were very careful not to frighten him!
