Christmas Walk

Room 11 Enjoyed a walk into town today. We visited the library, looked at the decorations in the Bridge Centre and had a lovely hot chocolate at The Square Cafe.

Aistear in September

We really enjoyed our play stations all about school. In the roleplay area, we were pretending to be Fiona, our school Secretary. In the construction area, we were busy building our school and making our classroom. At the playdough area, we created pupils in our class.

We were learning all about Autumn. We enjoyed doing leaf rubbings using pastels, leaf printing using paint and sponges. We collected twigs and made an Autumn tree using colourful leaves. At our maths station, we were busy cutting and sticking. We sorted out the leaves by colour and put them in the correct set.

Halloween in Room 11

We enjoyed playing in our Witches Kitchen and our small world spooky house. We painted Halloween pictures using our imagination. We made Halloween objects using playdough and magic potions at the water table. We had a great time this Halloween.

Toast

On Friday morning we had some toast, we decided what 2D shapes we would like to cut our slice of toast into. Yummy yummy in our tummies!
