Miss Mc Evoy’s class entered the Write a Book competition in association with Laois Education Centre. All of the boys and girls worked really hard to write and illustrate beautiful books. All of the books were sent to Portlaoise where they were judged. One winner and five Highly Commended entries were chosen.

The winner was Anna Maunsell.
Anna went to the Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise on Wednesday 1st of June to collect her prize. On Thursday 2nd of June there was an awards ceremony in room 15. Afterwards there was a party! Congratulations to all the winners and well done to everybody in Miss McEvoy’s class!
