Our “One Book, One Community” World Book Day celebration was a wonderful success this year in St. Joseph’s N.S. We would like to thank our whole-school community for helping to make the day so special.

Our chosen book, “The Colour Monster” was an our stimulus for the day and worked really well across all classes. It was wonderful to see the school filled with colour as each class proudly wore their assigned colour. The bright colours created such a joyful atmosphere and really brought the story to life.

A special thank you to the 6th class boys from Scoil Eoin Phóil, who kindly visited our school to read with the children in 2nd Class. The pupils really enjoyed this opportunity and it was a lovely way to share our love of reading together.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make our World Book Day celebration such a memorable day for all.
