Today we took a trip to Esker Arts. We engaged in group work activities to explore the art exhibition, searching for images within the paintings. We chose and explained our favourite paintings. Many of our class enjoyed the space themed works of art. We also came across a painting called ‘Irish Man’ and spoke about how it made us feel and why. Following this, the children responded to their favourite piece of art by painting their own work of art. The results were fantastic. It was a wonderful way to spend a rainy morning!
