We were delighted to welcome author, illustrator and Primary School Teacher Julie-Ann Carroll to St. Joseph’s today. Her beautiful book “Our Super Teacher” shares the wellbeing practices of her dear friend Ms. Aoife Kelly. The children in all Senior Infant classes were so fortunate to experience a “real-life” author read her amazing book to us all and answer some amazing questions. Julie-Ann’s book teaches us about gratitude, meditation, positive self-affirmations, grounding and mindfulness. At the back of the book there is an incredibly useful pack for teachers and parents to use with step-by-step instructions. We wish Julie-Ann continued success with her book and we look forward to welcoming her back to St. Joseph’s again soon.
