We had a fantastic time celebrating Roald Dahl Day with a special whole-school assembly! It was a day filled with magic, mischief and imagination.

Our children, all dressed spectacularly in yellow—Roald Dahl’s favourite colour. The children sang three lively chants accompanied by some
staff playing musical instruments. The children performed the song “When I Grow Up” from Matilda the Musical. Members of the Library Committee also took turns reading a line about the incredible storyteller and his books.

It was especially lovely to welcome our new Junior Infants to their very first whole-school assembly at St. Joseph’s N.S. We couldn’t be prouder of all the children for their brilliant participation!
