Artist Caithríona Devine has been coming to room 20 for the past few weeks doing lovely Christmas and local landmark themed art with the children. This is a fabulous collaboration made possible following a summer course completed by both Caithríona and Ms. Cormican. It as been a fantastic experience to have an artist like Caithríona coming to the class with such a wealth of art ideas and fun activities. We have also been working on a large art piece depicting the Kilbeggan bridge and canal, a prominent place of beauty in the town. This is a work in progress through the medium of grout and acrylic paint. We look forward to completing our class art piece next Tuesday. More pictures to follow.
