Seachtain na Gaeilge was in full swing this week, bringing lots of fun, colour, and creativity to our classroom! One of the highlights was Lá Glas, where all the boys and girls came to school dressed head to toe in green. From bright green jumpers to sparkly accessories, the room was a sea of festive colour, and everyone made a fantastic effort.
The children have also been very busy getting into the spirit of the season with arts and crafts. They carefully made beautiful shamrocks, practicing their cutting and colouring skills while learning about this important Irish symbol.
Another big hit in the classroom has been our grass heads! The children have loved watching the grass grow day by day, but now they’re starting to look a little wild. With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, it’s definitely time to give them a good haircut!
It has been a wonderful week full of learning, laughter, and celebration of Irish culture. Maith sibh to all the boys and girls for their enthusiasm and great work!
