The boys and girls have been learning all about our president, Michael D. Higgins anf his last few week in office, and his very special home — Áras an Uachtaráin!

The children were fascinated to discover what life is like for the president and how he represents our country. They also learned about the history of the Áras and the important events that take place there.

When we explored the beautiful grounds of Áras an Uachtaráin, everyone agreed it would be some house to play hide and seek in — with over 90 rooms, you could be hiding for hours!

We were thrilled to have a special visitor today — Giggles came along to meet the children, as the real president was just a little too busy to join us. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and fun all around.
