Ms. Heffernan’s class really enjoyed visiting their first class tree- the Silver Birch. We talked about the different parts of the tree- the bark, the branches and the leaves. The boys and girls sketched a picture of the tree and did some bark rubbings. When we returned to the classroom we wrote some sentences on the Silver Birch.
