About Junior Infants

Welcome to Junior Infants at St Joseph’s N.S!
Starting school is an exciting journey, and in Junior Infants, we focus on creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, happy, and ready to learn. Our Junior Infants engage in a wide variety of playful and interactive activities that support their development in early literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Through stories, songs, games, and creative play, we help each child build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. We take pride in working together to make this first step in your child’s educational journey a joyful and rewarding experience.

We made delicious gingerbread men. These ones didn’t run away though….we gobbled them up to quickly!

Our class had the most coins in our bottle! We won the pizza party. Yaay! Thank you so much to the parents association for organising the whole event.
